Ooh that's a thought. I didn't know BG did fabrics. I need to check out eBay for Mon Ami paper. I found a few single sheets on Amazon... $10/sheet! :-o

I squeaked out one more LO tonight. I kept this one very simple because I wanted the background paper of a skyline to show as much as possible. You can't really tell with my photos but the Sacramento skyline shows in each photo as the sun was rising.

This was taken at Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area on the start of my annual, personal Big Day of Birding this year. It was my first time there at sunrise and it was a stunner. It really is the best time to be there. In 90 minutes I had 63 birds listed!

There are only 2 more 11x11 sheets (because I cut 1" strips off for previous LOs) plus scraps and stickers left. I've got the last of my few photos from that day printed and ready to figure out how to Kill the Kit with them.

Beautiful photos and background paper. I wouldn't want to cover that up either.

Such beautiful work! It's not easy to use some favorite collections but way better to use them than it is to ignore them on a shelf. Look at the beautiful pages they've made!

I'm calling this gorgeous kit KILLED! Yes there are alphas and stickers still (possible card material?) But see those 4 little scraps of paper? That. Is. All. that is left of the paper!!! I did it!

More from my Big Day...I did not take many photos since I was focused on finding as many species as possible. On the first LO I left that red spotted area open because it reminds me of spotted plumage of many shorebirds. This page shows #13 & #24 on my list. Second page is of 2 more locations I searched through with #80. I added black specks to liven it up. At some point I will make one more page listing all birds seen that day and where.

Oh! And I used wood veneer birds and feathers on both pages.

LOVE that skyline paper and the sunrise photos!

Also.... love seeing the ibis and avocets that hang out at Pea Island Wildlife Refuge in the winter... we have a flock of avocets that always look so pretty clustered together in the water.

Great layouts!!!
