Judy's June layouts
Judy's June layouts
I know I have been disqualified because it is the 5th and this is my first layout, but the wedding is over and I want to play. Let's see if I can figure out how to post this. This is from the Ocracoke trip during the 2015 ReCreate.

Considering it's an informal challenge and there's no prize other than personal satisfaction, I'd say you're just in time! Love the LO. I had forgotten about the Germans being buried there.

I agree. I say you are just in time. Glad to see another participant. Nice layout.

The graves and markers are for British who were aboard the HMT Bedfordshire.

Well dang. My NC history memory isn't as good as I thought it was.

Yay Judy!!!
So glad you've joined in and the calendar is only an illusion anyway (illusion?).
Gorgeous page. Wasn't the cemetery a beautiful place?

Thanks everyone. Yes, the cemetery was amazing. I am so glad we got to see it. I had no idea enemy submarines were so close to our shores. It really makes you think about these British men who died defending the United States.
I paper is an old Amy Tan collection called Plus One. The shell, stamp and the words By the Sea came from a stamped image Debi's MIL, Peggy, gave me this year. The soldier's picture came from a sheet off the rak table.

Wonderful pages Judy! They are both very good and I am sorry that I didn't get to see that cemetery. Maybe next time.
Love those splatters.

Very strange, that LO is upside down on my CPU this morning. Yesterday when I viewed it on my IPAD it was fine. Darn gremlins!
