Sort of a challenge

Post by pamcook »

I might be crazy but I'm challenging myself to complete a layout a day in the month of June. The plan is to pull together 30 page kits and the photos to go along with the kits. For sure I have everything I need and I have a few days to prepare.
Anyone want to join me? :D

Do I look as crazy as you?

I don't think Nancy would even agree to a card a day. You must think I'm crazy.

I've always been intrigued by LOAD. I wonder if I could commit if I counted each half of a two page layout as separate layouts. Then I would only have to do fifteen of them.

But I am thinking hard on it.

The punishment isn't too severe, is it, for not accomplishing the goal?

Hmm... where is that saucy wench? I need to oust her from her cave shortly, to get camp cleaned up.

Pure insanity. But then again so was PSL, right? I think there were times when I did maybe half that many in a month during PSL. But no...no thank you. I wish you luck and have great confidence Pam that you are quite capable of succeeding. Funny just today I was reading a blog on a gal catching up 30 weeks worth of PL pages in 2 days! Greater insanity, no matter how well prepared you are.

Maybe I'll try a LO a week!

Pulled together kits for 16 layouts tonight. I even found some memorabilia I hope to include.
I've spent so much on supplies over the past year. Need to get serious about using this stuff.

I'd just like to finish one thing a week. Other than a bottle of wine. :drunk:

Good for you, Pam. Now you're not starting before June 1, right?

I ordered photos for four double page layouts today. May I use one half a day?

Sure Jen! I do mostly one page layouts now. My goal is 30 layouts. However you interpret that is fine with me.
I don't think I'll have time to start before the first. If I do - bonus. The more prep I can do this week, the more likely I am to meet my goal. Next step, find some sketches that are versatile enough that I can use several times. Need to choose photos for 14 more layouts as well.

You've inspired me. I hope it's not an epic fail for me.
Planning ahead is the key.

Pam, I have no doubt you'll be successful in your goal. Are your photos from various things, or are you working on one specific project? No LOAD for me in June, although I am hoping to make some progress on my Route 66 album. Hmmm, it seems I now have some beach and lighthouse photos to scrap, too.

I won't make a commitment to do 30 LOs in June, but I will do my best to scrap graduation photos during the month of June. There...I've made a commitment to scrap in June!!!

I doubt I'll do one a day because once I pull everything out, I tend to do a lot at once. I will take the challenge to try and finish the album I was working on at the beach. If I do finish it will definitely be more than 30 pages.

Maybe this will motivate to finally finish this thing. Thanks Pam for the challenge.
