March 2016 Scrapbook Sketch Challenge

I know I'm early but tomorrow will be all taken up with Red Carpet and Oscars and then on Monday (Leap Day) I'll be busy putting finishing touches on my Christmas card challenge cards. The panels are all made. I just need to get them onto card bases. Or could I fake it???

Anyway, here is the sketch I am using for this month. It caught my eye while surfing before I was even out of bed this morning and I thought, GO FOR IT.

And my interpretation of it. Using Crewel & Unusual kit and posting it in PSL for the metal element used on the journaling tag. The die cuts are all from Technique Tuesday dies. Thanks for looking.

Great sketch and LO Jen. I looked over at your link and liked many of the samples there too. Hmmmm, what bird will I feature this time?

Actually just today I got a life bird and hoping one photo turned out decent enough to scrap.

I recently placed an order from Paper Issues - never took a look at their blog! The order came quickly with a handwritten thank you from the owner. I'll order from her again.

This sketch is another versatile one. Jen, you do a great job of choosing sketches that will work with one or more photos - all sizes. I really like your interpretation of this sketch. Great balance of colors!

I *heart* Paper Issues! I've ordered from Cassie several times; her customer service is excellent. They've got some fabulous designers on their site, although I've never used one of their sketches before. Great idea, Jen.

Nice one Pam! I never know what to do with those foxes I get in embellishment packages, they never look like they belong but this fits perfectly.
