February 2016 Scrapbook Sketch Challenge
February 2016 Scrapbook Sketch Challenge
Okay, since February is a short month and it's Sunday evening and the rest of the week is busy busy, I am posting the sketch tonight. It's from the January Page Maps. I must admit some selfishness here because I have some circle images to use up so this caught my eye. I'm sure we all have a circle or two in the stash.

Re: February 2016 Scrapbook Sketch Challenge
Surprise, surprise! Instead of posting my sample late like I do every month, I decided it would be better to give it to you sans photos rather than delay, while waiting for Targét. As I said, I had some circular images from Celebrate that I wanted to use up. This is just one side of a layout. Once I have the other side completed I will post it. Hope you enjoy circles as much as I do.
I did the best I could do with my meager talent with clusters. I just don't seem to have that technique knocked like the rest of you. But I used up some of the stuff that came with the kit. So that's a good thing.

Nice sketch!
Re: February 2016 Scrapbook Sketch Challenge
Cool sketch! I am so determined to get my scrapping act together this year. And a challenge with circles is a perfect place to start. I am seriously "circle challenged". Don't ask me why...I really don't know. So thanks for this terrific sketch.

Nice sketch Jen, and your page is off to a great start!
Re: February 2016 Scrapbook Sketch Challenge
No way to get a good shot this late at night.
I turned the sketch on its side and used larger photos.
Can't believe this was almost a year ago! I realize it's probably going to be sideways...

Cool, Pam! I knew I could count on you to get right on it. Love these colors and circles. And it is right side up on my iPad.

That is adorable, Pam!

Very cool Pam! I like the peeking polka dots around the border reflecting the larger circles. and those scattered looking triangles give the LO so much energy. AND what a doll that little guy is!

What a fun layout Pam! Captures that fun event perfectly!
Hmmm, haven't really looked in my Celebration kit yet so I guess I will find some circles!!

Re: February 2016 Scrapbook Sketch Challenge
Okay, here is my completed layout. My niece has recently won several awards for photography. I don't really feel I should take credit for it but my Mom repeatedly tells me that her interest in photography blossomed during her first visit to California, as she followed me around taking every photo I did, using her little cheapo camera. NOW she has a much more expensive camera, and she's winning awards. I'm doubly proud that this photo was taken at the Sundial Bridge in Redding last year. And the butterfly, in fact, is resting on my orange shirt. Woo hoo. I'm famous!
All supplies are from CS Celebrate, which means I have killed the kit, except for one piece of that gorgeous sparkly paper which I am, of course, hoarding.

How wonderful - you have a paduan! Maddie is starting to show an interest in photography, so we're aiding and abetting as much as possible. Tell her to keep looking beyond the obvious to the soul of the photograph.

What a nice bond for you two, Jen! Great LO and I really like the right side and all the circles. Very cool.
