Kudos ladies! Great LOs.
Re: January 2016 Scrapbook Sketch Challenge
I did do this but my daughter has my main camera. My other camera I can't find my charger. I have searched high and low and have come to the conclusion I left it in a hotel room plugged in in Pennsylvania ! Off to Amazon to get another one.
Re: January 2016 Scrapbook Sketch Challenge
Debbie..your camera charger and my phone charger have both vanished! I went out of town last weekend and between leaving home and getting back...poof. Gone. I did not even use it while away. Thankfully there is another here at home.

Jill, what a fabulous layout ! The strips of patterned papers really pop against the black background. Of course you have a stunning photo to start with!

Dang, thought I was late to the party but it's still January!
For those who aren't Southern beach bums, there's a genre of music called, appropriately, beach music. There's tons of people who love this music, mostly those who were teens in the late 50s - early to mid 60s, and their anthem is a song titled "I Love Beach Music." (I don't, and I've been known to sing my own version of this named "I Hate Beach Music.") George is one of those people who absolutely loves it, which explains the title of the LO - He Loves Beach Music. He, his brother, and Chris headed to Myrtle Beach for three days in the middle of Nov. to attend the Beach Music Awards and the festivities leading up to it. Through old connections made during the time when the family owned a radio station and several music stores, Mike was able to get full access passes to everything, as well as free hotel accommodations. Having been a teen in the late 60s, early 70s, my music was an entirely different animal, so I opted to spend the weekend alone. (Yeah me!!! Love some alone time!) George hung out with Clifford Currie, whose claim to fame was "She Shot a Hole In My Soul," and Jeff Cook, Alabama's lead guitarist. He came home walking on cloud 9, so it was a great weekend for both of us.

Fabulous, Pam. How did you do the stars? is that paper?
Re: January 2016 Scrapbook Sketch Challenge
It's paper. I used the Simple Stories collection A Charmed Life. I've had it forever and finally decided to use some of what I have.
Re: January 2016 Scrapbook Sketch Challenge
Love it!
Good idea to use our stash.
We should have a challenge to use the oldest stuff we own. Pam?

What a wonderful experience for George and to do it with his brother and Chris makes it even better. And great that you have documented it.
