Here are some tags I made using the inspiration from Tim Holtz blog. Once you get started, it's hard to stop!

OMG!! This is my obsession!! I love tags, and your tags are GORGEOUS!!
Re: Tags
These are gorgeous Pam! I got some of those tags from somebody (I think Kelli?) but have only organized them into my stash (of course!) but do need to play. I just started an album for DD for Christmas so it's taking all my time - have to finish it early so it'll reach her in Japan in time for 12-25.

They are gorgeous! I really must check out Tim Holtz way of doing them. Is there a special link?

Open his blog (http://www.timholtz.com). He did 12 tags for Christmas last year but the links are still available and the directions are so easy to follow.
I did a version of his March 2008 tag for the tag swap - I posted it earlier but here it is again for anyone who missed it.

The blue one is one of my favorites, too. Check his blog - but basically -
stamp the stars with white acrylic paint and use a heat gun to dry them.
Stamp 2 colors of distress inks on a craft mat and then spritz the colors with water until the colors start to bead up.
Smoosh your tag on the colors - DON'T move the tag around. Lift it - dry it with a heat gun. Repeat that until you have the colors as intense as you like them.
Rub the ink off of the stars (the paint will work as a resist).
Stamp your design.
Add embellishments - on the bottom edge, I used my finger to smear stickles and then sprinkled some sparkly stuff I had in my stash. The stars attached to the fibers are an old 80's earring I found while cleaning out my daughter's room!
That's pretty much it. These tags are a blast to do - trust me, if I can do them and get great results, anyone can!
BTW - those of you who came to Camp Wannabe - this is the basic technique I used to make the LFB squares I gave each of you. I used versamark and embossed the leaves with clear powder since I used yellow paper to start with.
