It’s so flipping cute but $120 is too much for a cute toy. I can buy about 120 sheets if gorgeous paper, or more stamp sets I might use, or order some photo prints.

I will not buy this.

What is the point of it?

You don't need a printer to print post-it notes. No. No. No.

Unless you plan to use them in scrapbooking, like a planner or something... no. I bought an iZink in 2016, shortly before going to WDW, and that was a lot of fun for the niece and I to print off pictures and journal about our days, but that's exactly why I bought it. It's come in handy since, and I don't regret the purchase at all, but not everyone needs a gimmick.

Thermal images don't last long, especially when exposed to light. Think old school faxes.

Hmm... good point. Good thing the scrapbook pages have regular digital photos!

I saw an ad for this yesterday, aimed at planner girls. For a gimmicky printer I prefer the Instax; the Instax cameras don't take a very good photo, but if you take the photo on your phone and then print to the Instax printer you get a better print - albeit still Polaroid-like. No idea how they compare cost-wise, either for the printer itself or the cost of making prints though.

I'm rarely into the latest gimmicks. It took me years to finally get an electronic cutter that I rarely use.

I have a Wishblade that's never been used, and it's almost 5 years old.

You need to bring it to the beach and let us help you figure it out. (as in Debi D and the others who understand technology - I would be clueless but supportive!)

LOL. I have to laugh, because I'm generally anti-technology when it comes to hobbies, but I now need to have a working computer in order to use my Cricut. Don't get me wrong, I'll take the computer+cricut over my old cricut with cartridges (or even the old computer software), but it's actually because of the laptop that I don't use the cricut to its fullest capabilities. Sometimes I'll want to use the cricut, but the laptop is elsewhere, and I'm too lazy to fetch the laptop. My craftroom PC died earlier this year, and if my 3rd generation hand-me-down macbook ever dies, my cricut days might be over, because I'm really done purchasing new computer equipment for crafting purposes.

That reminds me, is anyone bringing their silhouette to the Beach House?
