Glad you are home and soon feeling better. I was lucky when I had my major flair up and they were able to do it the easy way after a 2 day stay in the hospital.

Great news! Now rest up so you can start doing some fun Stuff!

My Mom has the big scar, everyone else was lucky and just has the "bullet hole" scars! All the women in my family are plagued with GB issues, so far I've dodged it!

Thank you all for your kind words. Had a rough night which is to be expected. But I'm looking forward to a better day. Pam C, I'm so thankful he didn't have to do the big scar. He was concerned he would.
My daughter is going through the same thing. She's just waiting on the surgeons appointment. Her gastro doctor told her there is a hereditary factor with gallbladder issues.

So glad you didn't need the major surgery also. The other is very easy for sure.

Mine was strange. I was out shopping/doing lunch with DIL's and all of the sudden I had a terrible pain, worst I've ever had. They called Joe and he told them to take me to the hospital. At the hospital they thought I was having a heart attack but blood work showed it wasn't. I had a really high count for something and they admitted me, surgeon saw me and said whatever that count was it had to come down before they would operate. 2 days later I was having gall bladder surgery - very lucky very easy. No problems at all, went home next day and took it easy.

My gastroenterologist says most women have gallstones. I do too, but knock on wood, it stays quiet.
