When it rains
When it rains
It pours. I am back in Wyoming. I drove to pick up my ex-husband and bring him back to Mesa, Az with me. He just found out he has kidney, liver, and lymph node cancer and doesn't have long to live. He will be getting treatment at my home in Mesa by Hospice of the Valley. They are great and he will get wonderful care and be pain free. I would be forever regretful if I don't do this. We are leaving Thursday to go back to Az. He is in bed most the time. He also has degenerating disc in his back. He has lost 80 pounds.

Re: When it rains
Oh no. Oh Debbie, I'm so sorry. You're such a good person. I don't have to tell you to accept all the help you can get. You, Rod and your family are in my prayers.

I know you'll feel better because you're helping him in these last days, weeks. Take care of yourself, too. Lots of prayers heading your way.

Oh my goodness. You will be in my thoughts and prayers for sure. You are a strong woman to take on this life challenge, or call it what you may. Rod is one fortunate man to have you in his time of need.

Debbie,
I'm so late to finding this post. What a good woman you are and I am sure Rod appreciates it all. Hang in there and take all the help offered as Pam says.

Re: When it rains
Debbie, I'm thinking of you everyday. Please post when you and Rod get settled back in AZ.
Re: When it rains
We are in Az. Rod was admitted to the hospital and the Dr did some more testing, scans and has determined that the cancer has spread to his brain. He made the choice to opt out of any treatment and have Hospice Care of the Valley pcome to my home and I will be honoured to care for him in his last days. Keep the prayers coming, I'm going to need all I can get!
Thank you girls for all the words of comfort.

Re: When it rains
Praying for strength & grace for you. Praying for peace for Rod. I know there has to be much more you both need at this time. What a roller coaster ride you've been on for too long now. So happy you're physically close to family for support.
