last ones, that home is for sale. I figured we could all chip in and buy it and use it for retreats and rent it out the rest of the year. I didn't get the price but my friend Debbie said it's probably about 3 million. That is Chimney Rock in the distance.

The weather was perfect and no sweater or jacket needed. As a matter of fact I was underneath the fire and wondered at times if my hair was on fire!! I'm glad I wore jeans and good walking shoes per Keitha's recommendations. The grass was tall where we landed and it was a cow pasture and had plenty of fresh cow pies. Those silly cows were awe struck at the balloon coming at them. They were all staring up and I could only imagine what they were thinking. When we almost landed they took off running.

OMGosh! Was your heart going pitter-patter before taking off? (I'd be having an anxiety attack.) Love all the photos but I think my favorite is looking down on the shadow of your balloon...love it. So happy you had such a fantastic time up there. What a great friend and memory for you both.

My friend Debbie waited until we were safe on land before telling me just last week a balloon got in some electrical wires. Amazingly no one was hurt, but our pilot Mike owns all the balloons in Pagosa Springs so it had to be one of his. I don't know if he was piloting it or not. If I had known that I probably would have been stressed, so I'm glad she waited to tell me. I wasn't nervous and it was a really fun time. I would do it again.

Wow, thanks for sharing those, Debbie. We saw Chimney Rock and went down a road to try to get to it. It looks like a beautiful flight.

I went without mine! He went camping and I visited my friend! Worked for both of us.
