Christmas Ornaments

Post by troublesmom »

Here are a few of the ornaments I've been making. I think they need something else but not sure yet what.

Maybe a sentiment in the center? A stamped image in the center?
A gem of some sort in the center?
They're beautiful!

Those are cool, Cheryl! If I was making them for family I might include a monogram in the center.

Only problem is knowing who will get them. I usually let people pick their own. No monogram but it is a good idea.

Thanks. I try to make or buy an ornament for each niece & the nephew each year, so that's what sprang to mind. ;)

These are beautiful! I love the monogram idea too, though I get why you wouldn't want to use that. Maybe you come prepared with stickers or die cuts or whatever, and you can complete them quickly after everyone has made their choice?

I'm not sure how large the centers are, but the first thing that popped into mind were those tiny little school pictures that they give the kids for trading. I remember cutting those in circles and putting them in ornaments all the time. For my kids, I always order their school pics on CD, so I don't ever get any of those little ones, and the kids have never mentioned anything about having pictures to trade, so maybe that's not a thing anymore. But that's what came to mind when I saw those ornaments.

Good job!
