It's raining...it's pouring....
80% chance of rain today - next Thursday. Guess what I am doing this weekend? Yep! Scrapbooking! I so missed it! So glad to cut, and glue, and try to be creative. Maybe this weekend, my creativity juices will start to flow.

It held off here thank goodness. I went car shopping.
Re: It's raining...it's pouring....
We had a lot of rain overnight, Thurs-Friday. There was very little rain in Australia so it's been a few months since we've seen some decent rain. It sounded good to hear it rain.

We are expecting 3-5 inches before it is all over with. I'll never finish painting the deck this summer.

I spoke too soon. I think we've had 3-5" already today. The yard is flooded.

Mid - upper 80's and beautiful sunshine all week in Seattle.
We arrived home to mid 70's and rain. Go figure!

I love Seattle weather. We were there in July a couple years ago and it rained lightly every day in the morning and the rest of the day was nice. Cool temps too. Looking forward to your photos.

I fell asleep at 5:30 last night and woke up at 10:30 this morning. If I wasn't so hungry, I probably would have slept all day. The cats woke us up several times last night. They must love us - they are following us everywhere, purring and rubbing all over us. Maybe they won't take us for granted (as much). hahahaLaurie wrote:Glad you made it home safely.
Looks like a rainy day for us here. It's overcast and still only 70. Dread the return of the heat this week. I have to go to the grocery and then hope to get photos uploaded and some ordered. Maybe even get a few pages done and posted to the challenge threads.

Raining all weekend here. Held off a little while last night so we were able to go to a birthday cookout. Otherwise just being lazy and staying indoors.

Re: It's raining...it's pouring....
I'm a little late to this thread, but we were in Oshkosh, WI all weekend and man did we get rained on! We got rained on a little bit Thursday afternoon, but then when it was time to walk back to the car, the sky opened up and we got hailed on. That was a first for us - we've never been out walking in a hail storm. The kids were all like, "hey! Ow!! That hurt!" That was a long walk to the car.
Fortunately, we were staying in a rented house where there was a washer and dryer, and we were able to get the wet muddy clothes off and in the washer right away. One of Rob's brothers though, was at the campground with a trailer. And that place was just a disaster. The ground was completely saturated, and all of these heavy trucks and trailers were getting themselves completely stuck and walking anywhere on the grounds met you were up to your ankles in mud. No thanks.
We had a few other showers throughout the weekend, but nothing as bad as the hail on Thursday. I don't wish to repeat that experience.

Looks like rain for us ALL week and through the weekend. This week and weekend from Berta. I have to wear rain boots to get to the car and back.
