bought their Basic Grey warehouse box? I couldn't resist so I bought one this morning. Yesterday the site seemed to be having trouble.

I've never done a Basic Grey box. Are they as good as the Websters ones used to be? Looking at their website and current product lines, I can't quite decide if it's something I'd use or not. It's definitely not the same as everything else I have, but it's also not jumping out and saying "buy me!"

It depends on your style, Julie. I'm a Basic Grey person but not a Webster's Pages person.

What kinds of stuff do you typically get in the box? The tempting part is, unlike Webster's Pages, I'd be fairly certain that I wouldn't get a bunch of duplicates of what I already have. But then I used that logic with the Heidi Swapp box, and was utterly disappointed. The paper was OK, but the embellishments just didn't do a thing for me. I wound up giving a bunch of it to Nicole, and the rest is still in a drawer waiting for me to figure out what it's for - because it's certainly not useful for my layouts.

I also resolved to buy no more supplies until I started burning through what I already had. But I already broke that resolution with a warehouse box that someone posted about a month or so ago. I loved it! Lots of adorable stuff that will be great for kids and babies (and there's a new Fugina niece/nephew on the way). But on the flip side, my kids are growing up, and I probably have about as much cute/adorable/pretty stuff as I'll ever need.

Still tempted.... :devilangel:

The first box I got from them in 2012 didn't thrill me but I don't see a lot of it hanging around here anymore. The box last year, I liked a lot more but I can't really remember what was in it but it was just from 3 collections.

I broke down and ordered one. It's a tremendous value and I tend to most always love BG. I certainly find their papers more versatile than most others.
Thanks Marianne for the head's up on this. I always appreciate hearing about sales. Can't always take advantage of them - and like everyone, not all product appeal to me but I'm excited about this one!

I ordered one too. I can't justify it in any way shape or form, other than I needed a little retail therapy at the time. 8-)

I received my box today and it's nice! I for sure won't be needing any alphabet stickers for the duration of my Scrapbooking career! Nice selection! One 6x6 paper pack, one 12x12 paper pack, 12 6x12 sticker pages, 12 12x12 sticker pages, 12 6x12 alphabet sticker pages, 12 12x12 alphabet sticker pages, one 3 ring binder smash book style, rubons, clear flourish stamp set, pack of chipboard pieces, one pack of flowers and a pack of fibers! Lots of goodies!

Mine shipped on the 11th. I hope to get it early next week. The rumors were right - I heard that the value was really good this time.
Are the letter stickers a nice assortment of colors?

That sounds pretty good, Deb, but I hope I don't get a lot of letter stickers, I've been trying to use all mine up. Mine was shipped on the 11th but I won't see it until late July.
