My Clean Desk!

Post by paddlegal »

I have been trying to make some cards and was getting nowhere. So I cleaned my desk. It was a disaster and I should have taken a before picture. But here is my clean work space begging to be messed up again.

What I am hoping to do on it this year:
Art Journal
Themed cards
Project Life albums
EXPERIMENT!!!

Just trying to decide what to do first is a stumbling block for me. Maybe I'll ink my ink pads next. LOL

Now I want to clean mine!

Actually, I did just do some major straightening before settling down for the night. And I did make two OWH Penguin cards, four Christmas cards, and one Valentine today. So I feel like I accomplished something today.

Marianne keeps trying to teach me to clean up after each project. What a concept, right?
Marianne - :happy94:

Actually, if I cleaned up after each project, I know I'd get a lot more done. Thinking a lot about time management today...

Farley - what is in those binders? on the shelf above your desk? Some have colored strips on the binding...

I picked up some new decorative boxes yesterday with an eye to reorganizing, but it's going to take a major ridding out, I'm afraid.

Your desk looks wonderful and the rest of your space is so neat and organized. Now go mess it up!

Those binders hold collections of cling/clear stamps and their accompanying dies if there is one. The binders have a combination of plastic pages for cling stamps or pages that are magnetic on one side for dies and cling material on the other for their stamps. The colored strips are the labels of the categories. You probably can't see them but one is dedicated to birds and another to coffee stamps, . The 3 blank ones are filling up and now need labels also. The rest of the labels are either by company/artist, sentiments and themes. These are my most often used. There are loads of stamps stored in other ways as well. I am still and probably will be forever changing my storage of stamps.

I can't remember if I posted this last Spring but those open cabinets were made by Bob for me. He is now quite the woodcrafter!
