My room

Post by troublesmom »

So after Christmas was put away my craft room was a mess. Hubby needed one of my tables so I had to redo some of it and thought I would show a few photos. I still have a lot of pages that have been completed but not put in albums that I really want to get rid of. One day!!!

So orderly. I just can't seem to get to that place in life.

Hoping to once again try to diagram out a workable space for myself. I am learning that the way it is now just isn't working. For instance, my scraps (neatly organized by color) right now require stepping into a narrow space to open a closet door. They should be readily accessible to me in order for me to want to get them. So that's my next task. Reorganize those scraps. One thing at a time.

Anyway, your room looks very nice and I can see why you are so productive.

Thanks all. It really is still a mess and I have a lot to sort through but at least the tables are clear now. I really need to do something better with my stamps but am not sure what.

Who needs Archivers when we have Cheryl?

Hey Cheryl - they're selling their fixtures (tables, too). You're the only person I know with enough space for them. Could you imagine getting one of them upstairs?

Seriously? Cheryl & Hope have some of the nicest crafting spaces out there! Someday...

It's certainly an outstanding space! I'd be torn about having something that large. One one hand, it would be a huge amount of fun to be able to invite someone over to come play with me. But the down side is, once I would manage to clutter a space that large, I'd be completely disinclined to ever go in there again! LOL. I can't handle huge messes without being overwhelmed. And I'd have that space in complete disarray in no time flat.

I am resigned to be happy just to have a dedicated space at all, small as it may be. I just came in today (rare snow day for work), and started cleaning up. Because it's small, it doesn't take long.

One thing about my space is I also have all my genealogy stuff there. I have a large bookshelf totally full. That is another mess I need to clean up. One day...................

I had loads of room until Maddie started using it. I just wish she'd clean and put things away when she uses them, especially the masks and stencils.

And what was Adam doing with my new TH Distress Markers that I haven't even touched yet???

Make it a condition of her using your room. She's plenty old enough to be responsible, whether she likes the idea or not. :tomato:
