Waxed Paper Collage Class

Post by azemigh »

I hosted my Altered Art/Mixed Media group yesterday and taught them the Waxed Paper Collage technique. Only had 3 people show for the meeting, but we had a blast. Here is my class set up and ready to go, 2 of my "students" and me, and the bottom pic is my piece before it goes through the embossing machine and sanding and inking.

And here are mine, some cut to use as card fronts, some cut into flowers and leaves.

The trees on the top left cardfront were a diecut from that glittery foam and I decided it didn't work very well for the technique (too thick) but I'll use it for something.

I don't know that technique, but the end result made some gorgeous flowers and leaves!

I don't know the technique either - but I'd love to learn.
Any chance you'd do an online class for us?
The pieces are just beautiful - all of them - and I love that you used them in your die cutting machine.

Thanks everyone! It's a fairly easy technique and one of my go-to techniques when I'm in a funk (which I have been for awhile now).

I will post a tutorial in that section of the forum. Probably by the end of the weekend.
