Cards of the week - AKA: Wednesdays at LSS

Post by paddlegal »

Yesterday afternoon at my weekly meetup with crafting friends at my LSS I was very productive. I made three cards! Two just for fun trying out new stamp/die sets and an anniversary card for friends celebrating today.

First card's stamps and dies are from MFT's Kitchy Kitchen. Adorable set with tons of stamps and dies for everything. Second card is from a new Hero Arts set, Japanese Wishing Garden. The third card's die "congratulations" is from Avery Elle.

I may need a new light bulb. My colors are a bit off and greenish.

Beautiful stamping and coloring! Is that an embossed background behind the pagoda?

Thanks Pat and Marianne!

Yes, Marianne, I used a WRMK 6 X 6 embossing folder in the background. I don't know its name though. But it has a great water/snow/sky look to it.

Thanks, Farley, that would be a very useful embossing folder.

That would be a good one to have. That's my favorite of the three cards, Farley. Really cute.
