Here is another card from Whitlock's new collection of pop up box card files. Let me tell you this was a labor of love. With the exception of the sequin flowers in the bike basket (old CS Tahiti) and the enamel dots, everything else was cut from this one file set including the sentiment. All papers were from Pink Paislee "Atlas" collection.

I just noticed this challenge really says it's for cards. So if I am posting improperly, let me know. I'm trying to focus on my layouts right now with a few cards now and then. Anyway, I digress.

Made this layout for CS PSL using a hexagon cut file from a Big Picture Class by Ashley Horton. Kit is CS digi Boardwalk and a piece from a Concrete Jungle remix. Photos from a trip to Cambria in 2009.

I will try to also make a card. Thanks for looking.

P.S. Oh, and I believe I'll ask for bonus points for using nine enamel dots. And wood veneer pieces.

This afternoon I made this card for my neice's 17th birthday. It's another file from my Lori Whitlock library. The "happy birthday" was a real bear to fold right but I'm happy with the results even if it is a bit skewed on the base card. Oh well. Once it was glued down there was no fixing it and I was being so careful too. Except for the berry colored base all papers are from My Mind's Eye - My Story kit. I used some red Wink of Stella on the ribbon for extra glitz.

Thank you all!

Marianne I used 3, 12x12 sheets for the base and ribbon, the letters (which is a full A2 size) and the heart background which has the stars cut out. However this card is an A2 and can easily be made with 8.5x11 papers. I also used one other sheet just for the present since I was going to also use it for my "Hello" card on my August sketch challenge. So not too much waste. The leftover scraps are very usable.

It's been shipped in a Priority flat rate box with her gift. She will be a high school senior this fall so I gave her a fun planner with all the cool accessories to keep track of this busy coming year and a way to look back on memories. She'll be choosing a college soon also.
